Learned Dad voted for Trump

What's wrong with you? You're telling her to use her dad as a punishment for voting for trump? You're insane.

wrong. My lifelong mulitary Republican dad who voted in every single presidential election since he was able did not vote for Trump and did not consider him a Republican because he is not.

If that were the case you would be able to spell military.

Nope.

Not everyone's dad hates women and brown people.

Brown people voted for him too. It's how he won.

He did get more but the majority of 'brown' people either voted for Harris or didn't vote.

Taco mab won because of the white men, particularly the uneducated

You keep misspelling words and forgo punctuation yet you are talking trash on the "uneducated?" That's rich.

This. Op, you are now in the minority and need to get over this. A lot of reasonable republicans, moderates, conservatives, all not MAGA, decided to vote for Trump simply because he was more fiscally responsible and pledged to get rid of DC bureaucracy and the imperial president and the debt -- which Democrats do not. that is al. To cry "OMG he voted for Trump" shows political unsophistication.

Just remember, the law of physics is for every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction. Ask yourself how did we get back in the same situation with Trump? The last four years was no picnic either.

I feel like the MAGA folks are living in a different county than I am. The president gets a “gift” of a jet from Qatar, then announces Qatar is building a base on U.S. soil. US citizens are being beaten and imprisoned for exercising their right to peaceful protest. The administration ignores court orders and any laws with which they don’t agree. The president demands the AG prosecute his enemies, and fires any attorneys who won’t follow his orders, even if they’re unlawful. J6 rioters are pardoned. Grocery store prices are increasing and the government issues a report that the policy of deporting immigrants will put be even more pressure on prices. People are snatched off the streets by masked men, placed in unmarked vehicles and disappeared into prisons in other countries. Sure Biden’s presidency wasn’t perfect, but how can it even begin to compete with the Trumps’s attempt to burn the constitution?

That is absolutely how I felt living behind the blue curtain in New England during Covid and Biden. Like left/right were watching two different movies. Having forced masking everywhere well into 2022, forced vaccinations of healthcare workers, the All Are Welcome / Immigrants are Sacred virtue signaling (these same people now upset bc developers are building nearby their bucolic suburb) … anyway. It got to the point with Biden and all the smug “the adults are in charge” pablum that I voted gladly for Trump. But America truly is watching two different movies. Never heard about Qatar pay to play but frankly don’t care after all the Biden emperor has no clothes , he’s just a doting grandpa who has always stuttered Pravda media corruption.

I cannot respect anyone who voted for him after Jan 6th. He then pardoned those criminals. And now he is disappearing people without due process. This isn't politics, its basic morals and people who voted for Trump don't have morals. If you care more about money than right and wrong, I don't want anything to so with you. Trump is only fiscally responsible to the rich.

If Trump is abolishing the imperial presidency, why is he building a 90,000 sq. foot ballroom as a priority?

OP is absolutely not in the minority. I cannot believe how many people are normalizing this.

Dp. I would consider him lost and interact with him at a minumim level

This is the right move, particularly if you have kids. Don't let him interact with kids without supervision, and even then it should be minimal.

Nothing says sophisticated like pardoning the guys who smeared sh*t in the Capitol.

False. Trump did not receive the majority of the vote.

Where were you “forced to mask” in 2022?

Sounds like you’re living in alternate reality without access to reliable news sources.

So ignorant Republicans who didn’t listen to the economists who said Trump’s plan were going to blow up the economy and INCREASE the debt, which they have.

Republicans are always blowing up the economy and increasing the debt. Hopefully we can have a fair election again so the Democrats can fix the economy. Again.

Many blue states, including DC and MD, still had masking mandates in public spaces until March 2022. Did you already forget?
