This. Op, you are now in the minority and need to get over this. A lot of reasonable republicans, moderates, conservatives, all not MAGA, decided to vote for Trump simply because he was more fiscally responsible and pledged to get rid of DC bureaucracy and the imperial president and the debt -- which Democrats do not. that is al. To cry "OMG he voted for Trump" shows political unsophistication.

The people I know who voted for Trump are extremely unsophisticated. They didn’t go to college, they have never traveled internationally, they don’t personally know immigrants, they don’t follow politics very closely, and they could not articulate either candidates’ proposed policies or explain their potential impact.

They live in red areas and almost everyone they know is a Republican and they literally can’t conceive of voting for a Democrat. They couldn’t tell you 3 things Biden did as President without resorting to Fox News’ talking points: open borders, rising inflation, putting biological males in girls’ sports. They have no knowledge of actual policies. They have attended Christian houses of worship their entire lives, but willingly voted for a man who has not lived and does not currently live his life in accordance with fundamental Christian principles and doesn’t seem all that familiar with Christian doctrine (or any other religion’s) — yet they inexplicably claim that Trump “has been good for the Church,” whatever that means.

They have never heard of any of Trump’s grifting because they don’t follow news sources that report on it. They believe that Trump is the uber successful businessman portrayed by his character on The Apprentice, and have no idea that over the course of his career at the helm of the Trump Organization, he lost more money than he made and ended up poorer than if he had conservatively invested the money his father gave him and never started a business. They think he understands the global economy, even though he doesn’t know how tariffs work (they don’t either) and he doesn’t understand basic math well enough to know that he can’t reduce drug prices by 650-1,000%.

Could not be more wrong about me.

You are one of PP’s friends?

Poor reading comprehension. Likely MAGA.
