Race-based verbal attack-- what would you do?

I witnessed something very similar in Target last year and I spoke up to defend the cashier. Many employees came up and thanked me after the white trash bully left. Of course, I left Target shaking, but I will never regret doing what is right.

it doesn't matter- im asian and that is embarrassing. people need to stop thinking "freedom of speech" means that you can abandon civility. I feel like people have just abandoned having good manners completely.
