Can you reveal which state school gave your child merit? Am wondering if it was VCU, ODU, GMU? |
Not trolling. OP made a point of saying it's a top school. So her "actual point" was that she is paying so little not for any public but for a top one. She opened the door. |
And then it was pointed out to you that many top publics cost an amount in this range and you continued to dwell on OP’s kid’s school specifically. So, yeah, trolling. |
OP - you can only name the public school. The private is irrelevant. |
|
In my head they were both relevant because the public is ranked higher.
Anyhoo, I am glad others get my drift. My sibling is in the reverse situation, which makes the private seem that much more. - OP |
so clearly not a top school or you'd name it by now |
But if the situation were reversed you would have paid $0 for many more years and probably could have afforded private no problem for 4 years. I don't get the I am glad the situation was not reversed comment. |
It is. I just refuse to be forced to. You can take my original post at face value or not. I do not care. I do regret not being more clear in my OP that I was referring to 2 different college tuitions because people are still posting assuming I was talking about pk-12 tuition. |
Imagine being such an insecure troll that you’re this triggered by someone saying their kid goes to a top public. |
This is funny…..but true….I guess it depends on the level of the Private k-12 that your kid went to. AT our school, parents would rather be caught stealing than have their kids attend a State school, regardless of how well ranked they might be. |
I feel like pretending I'm the OP and saying Kentucky (random) just so I can watch this poster lose their mind. lol |
This is so pathetically funny. So many truly insecure parents. NP |
I dont disagree. It is pathetic, but sadly true. These parents at our kid’s school would rather see their kid at a place like Tulane than Michigan…..oh well… |
Truly crazy. |
My kids went to a top public lol |
