Did you have sex on your wedding night?

Confused by your post.

Did you read the thread? Lots of people don't.

Yes virgins or near virgins. We had messed around plenty but not the whole thing. So on wedding night, of course. Amazing. Still married, sex is a strong point in our relationship.

It seems a lot of DCUMers have trouble understanding life outside their own narrow experience and viewpoint which I find fascinating for a place that claims to be so cosmopolitan

Yes, however, I think people read way too much into it.

We were both exhausted and a little tipsy so it was just a very intense quickie. Thankfully I still remember it and we’ve repeated it on some of our anniversaries including once in the same hotel room.

Oh FFS it was meant to be funny. Your post is so typical of DCUM posters who are so literal and judgy. Your attempt at a gotcha reveals you to be the narrow-minded idiot you claim to be criticizing. Time to get off your soapbox.

It wasn't funny it was a stupid comment. If multiple people tell you that the problem is you.

You’ve hit the nail on the head when it comes to the insular bubble in which most D.C. area residents live.

They might have travelled a little, but they remain unable to see anything beyond their extremely limited life experiences.

For example:

- as horrible and paternalistic as your view of arranged marriages may be, it works perfectly in most cases for the 1 billion+ citizens of India and 80+ million citizens of Pakistan, who tend to marry that way.

Just who the hell do you think you are to try to impose your American / western cultural values on others, and judge them or look down on them?

Yes, but funny enough we didn’t on a very short first honeymoon trip. She was taking classes at night in addition to both of us working and we only had a few days to do the wedding and a 2-night trip to NYC. We didn’t have the exhaustion on the wedding day like so many others because it was small, but we did on that first trip. Did a “real” honeymoon a few years later.

Not tonight exhausted started and never recovered.
Planning my exit strategy.

They asked me not to get pregnant too soon would bring more shame to them. The only way 100% not to get pregnant and not taking pills is not doing it. We have happy marriage.

WTH?

Please understand that not everyone is from your White American culture. There are many cultures where it is very tough on the couple if the parents do not approve of the union.

When did you decide to ignore your parents have sex and children?

3 x that day once at the destination. I was shooting air by the end.

This was my post, and since we got onto the subject of the back passage, 1 of the 3 times that day was in the rear!
