We got back to the hotel completely exhausted and starving and made a brief attempt at it.
The highlight for me was taking a long hot shower, getting in bathrobes, and scarfing down room service in bed. We both slept in until close to noon the next day! |

I was 28. He was 27. We had an afternoon church wedding followed by 4-hour reception. Stayed at the Hay Adams on our wedding night. Left for 3 week honeymoon in Europe the next morning. This was the late 90s before weddings became 5 day affairs and after parties with costume changes, etc. |
