The coach is spineless!

Lol. You clearly don’t know him. Don’t be mad your kid didn’t get a call.

Lots of ambiguity in here. Is Speaks spineless or Mitchell?
Does "him" refer to the attack kid and family or Speaks.
SJC would have to give the attack and his surrogate a full ride. Not saying SJC wouldn't do it.

Mitchell isn’t at DM anymore if that is who you’re talking about.

Read the prior posts. PP wondered if Speaks would try and steal the 27 attack from the Heights. Boh Mitchell, Dave's brother and also owner of Next Level, is the head coach at the Heights. Probably not a good idea if Speaks wants Next Level players. There's also a coach's son, lefty, who is already on the roster at SJC. There's other issues to get over too. Also, the Mitchell's stress that high school lacrosse means very little in the recruiting process because their livelihood depends on this messaging.

Well that’s a bad message and why they are about tier 4 team

Putting aside how different the schools are academically/socially/spiritually, why would a kid transfer from Heights to SJC for lax?

HTS: 12-7 and lost in WCAC quarterfinals.
SJC: 11-6 and lost in WCAC quarterfinals.

SJC beat HTS 12-8 head-to-head. But HTS beat SMR team that eliminated SJC. Seems like a lateral move at best.

This is funny. Take a quick look at their schedules and you’ll see how ridiculous this is.

I think the DM attack. Best player on the best team. In the IAC, the coaches split the award between the Landon attack and Bullis attack. That was a cop out too.

I think the IAC Coaches also got it wrong by doing a co-player of the year award. While Landon's Murry (Bucknell) and Bullis' Mahar (Penn) are exceptional attackman, I really thought the best player in the IAC was Landon's defenseman Cassidy (Penn). He shut down all opposing players top offensive players.

No chance. Landon loses at least 5 without the attack. The pole is good but they still might have the same record. Landon had 5 poles they juggled play time, granted the Penn kid stayed on the field when he wasn't taking a penalty a game.

By FAR the best IAC player was the Landon Michigan-headed FOGO. Crazy high winning percentage and without possession their attack is worthless.

Correct except he’s not going to Michigan

He switched up?

Reclassing and it’s ridiculous. Easily the best fogo in the region but mich not admitting him until next year. Another example of lax turning into hockey.

That’s too bad. He is really dominant. Michigan didn’t judge that one correctly. Is he going to a PG school?
Anonymous
Landon fogo was a late bloomer.

I believe he is doing a PG year at Loomis and then off to Michigan in the fall of 2026.

If you call getting 1/3 reps as a freshman and splitting reps the next 3 years and being dominant for the #1 team the last 2 years and committing to Michigan being a late bloomer, okay. Nothing late about this. This is the broken college lacrosse system.
