Why doesn't he reach out to a few local Prep alums to see if they want to coach / give back to the GP program?

When I observe Landon's coaching staff, it's primarily alums other than Kubick (GP alum) and their HC Coach McGettigan who is an Episcopal alum. Landon's staff is also massive, 10+ coaches, I'm assuming half of them are volunteers who love the school.

It’s not easy to do that. You usually have to be retired or independently wealthy to pull that off.

The Landon lacrosse coaching staff almost entirely works at the school or works in education.

+100

It’s a big advantage relative to other schools as their coaches really get to know the boys on the field and in the classroom.

Which makes it unique. Clearly it has worked for them for a long time given the overall success of the program and i believe the highest number or IAC titles.

I noticed that Bullis is playing in a tournament this weekend. Does anyone know if the Bullis seniors are playing? Bullis seems to do this every year. How come other schools do not participate?

After watching that WCAC championship I feel like we were punked. Gonzaga and St. John’s were Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg. Lol

Transitioning to senior projects, AP exams, all manner of other things happening at the end of the year. Some schools graduate before Memorial Day, too, so this is the final stretch of all the senior graduation events, parties, etc.

Unnecessary cheap shot; I think everyone who frequents these boards would be happy if their sons spent a lot of time with McGettigan and the Landon staff as mentors for their sons.

Bellistri has always tried to play one of these National type events going back to the early Geico days. Swan song for him and his one of his favorite classes he’s had there.

They are playing Everest Academy (ON) who is 7-8 and seniors are playing.

So far IMG Academy, Hill Academy and Culver is up on ANC 11-3 at the start of the 4th. Bullis should have no trouble moving on to the final four on Saturday.

3:00 pm Sat - IMG vs. Culver
5:00 pm Sat - Hill Academy vs winner of Bullis vs Everest

GZ did it the last 2 years and dropped out this year.

Bullis will roll over Hill Academy , they aren’t the dominant program they once were even 5 years ago.
