without seeing the roster but hearing some names who made it, a few SSSA, NCS, Holy Child, Holton Arms, Visi. Looks to be spread out among the usuals

Interesting. Same top 5 for all those who have posted rankings so far--just in different order. Would be great if folks would offer their rationale for placement, especially for the top 2.

This Spring is going to be a good one. 4-5 teams across ISL and WCAC will be very competitive and could rise to the top.

SR and SSSAS probably look strongest on paper, but GC is a perennial power these days.

Visi is likely being underestimated. Potomac lost a lot, but not everything. SJC has a second year with their new coach and lots of returning contributors.

Who has the strongest 2029s? Any contributors expected from this group for the top teams across ISL and WCAC? Haight and KJ don't let Freshman play, of course, but I imagine they could help some of the others.

Can PVI and BI reset and be competitive after losing their top players?

My early pre-season take

1. GC
2. SR
3. Saints
4. SJC
5. Potomac
6. VISI

It should be SSSA for ISL champs. They’ve basically gutted the future of the program to get a championship with this senior class. It’s now or never.

For those picking the Saints for ISL, what is your confidence level that they can avoid the late-season swoon that hit them last year? They looked to be the strongest team in the ISL up until the last 7-10 days. SR, on the other hand, got better toward the final weeks.

Will probably be a repeat of last year.

Depends if KJ will trust some of the other team to play some valuable minutes or not

GC hasn't lost to a DMV team in years. They should stay #1 until beaten. ISL Champion SR at #2 & ISL runner-up SSSAS #3. SJC, Visi & Potomac are all tied at #4.

Add Holy Child to the group tied at #4.

Care to share why HC would make a jump like that?

That’s very unlikely for HC. HA might be better than HC

Visi lax is in trouble after this year.

Will be interesting to see if the new coach can even coach

500 year old coach trying to remain relevant. Spend some time with your great great grandchildren.

They are done. No talent and unproven coach. Even 500 year old KJ will beat them.

If we are being honest, Visi, SSSAS, and Potomac will all be in trouble after this year. It's now or never for all three.
