So true - no one cares

O’Connell won this year, and OLGC took the title back in 2019. St. John’s had a four-year run in between, so good for them and their program — though honestly, it’s a sport full of endless, pointless whistles that the lax girls' are playing just to stay in shape and way over half these girls never even played before HS. What an awful game to watch.

Great argument; so well-supported.

Girls don’t go to Visi for lacrosse. Admissions are too hard and the academics are even harder. They’ve been lucky to have good athletes that are high academic performers in the past but unfortunately there are so many other options now. I’m not sure Visi can keep up with the recruiting of other schools. Rumor has it they lowered the admissions standards for their 2027 class and they regret that decision. I can’t see them forgoing their academic reputation for their sports’ programs.

Sorry but as someone who has been involved with both Visi and t he likes of Potomac, Sidwell, etc, Visi is a big step lower in admissions and academics. They do get tons of applicants from the catholic k-8s, but nothing there is remotely at the level of many of the ISL schools, so they should not have any recruiting issues the others do not have.

For someone with your admissions and academic expertise, your writing is unexpectedly poor.

Does Sidwell have a lacrosse team?

Maybe ask there 2025 grad that played for Cap blue and is now at Dartmouth playing or maybe stop by campus and ask the 2027 who plays for Skywalkers and is a commit to Stanford...

Is Sidwell in the B division?

Couple of good players going to good places, but not competitive with ISL A or second round of DCSAA. Those girls got recruited from their clubs, and have had to basically do everything for their Sidwell teams. That doesn't work against a higher-level program.

Any reason why the SSSA twins flipped commitments?
