You can do that without mentioning who is in charge. You just ask about how things are - now - vs how they’d like them to be. And listen.

Sure. I’d say um you might be in a bubble if you don’t know people who are Trump voters or Trump curious. They’re everywhere, that’s how he won. They don’t need to be told they made a mistake over and over again, they’ll just double down.
