What do we do??

Very first step in keeping his name out of our mouths and talking about what’s going on now in terms of billionaires taking over.

Can't do that

He's the one doing the doling out

And with the way these weeks have gone, you think there will be an election?

We have to do that. No one wants to be ashamed of their choices. If you just make the next election about fighting to preserve America from the billionaires, we win. We have to move on, he’s an old man, this is about much more than him. It’s about the people who control him and who want to control us.

I don't want them to be ashamed

I just want to know if they are feeling better off

It's not popularity. It's fighting for the Constitution itself. If people don't care about it, maybe this form of government was too much for them.

Democrats aren’t famous for loving the Constitution. In fact, they’ve long resented the bitter clingers who do.

Not sure where you get that from, but this seems to not be a party thing

If you support the Constitution, it's clearly being violated.

We have to respond DAILY to Trump. WEMOD? what would Michelle Obama do? Trump goes low, she goes high. We need to take up space like she does, resist like she does, sass like she does. And maybe, just maybe, we can save the world.

It would have been much easier in the recent past and will be much easier in the future if Dems can just nominate normal/average POTUS candidates that would prevent someone as awful as Trump from ever gaining the power of the POTUS office. What you are suggesting sounds like going around your arse to get to your elbow.

Normal/average POTUS, you mean white men?

The previous didn't say that.

But, I will.

Yes--get a white man! Get an affable Bill Clinton type with a moderate platform and minimal baggage.

That’s what people thought they had in Joe Biden and boy did that backfire. How about find someone who’s in touch with the wants and needs of the American people, regardless of race or gender.

There are surely many of these people, but they are “regular” people who are just a part of every day society and they’ll never be in a position to be POTUS.

Bummed we burned Tim Waltz, he’s great. Katie porter would be a good veep, hope she wins in CA. The front man will need to be someone from business, not government.

You can do that without mentioning who is in charge. You just ask about how things are - now - vs how they’d like them to be. And listen.

Sure, but Trump's tariffs have such a ring.

Anyway maybe it's best to do your thing with the people in your orbit. There may need to many different prongs to this pitchfork

We need just 5% of the population to hit the streets in protest. That’s how this ends.

Each party has its favorite parts to cherry pick. Don't act like any party has a more legitimate claim to it

1. Go to a protest.
If you don't know where one is, just show up at the local Tesla dealership. People will be there.

2. Buy very little.
You need to eat, have a roof over your head, gas and some clean clothes. Anything else and you are supporting billionaires at this point. Buy a few things at local shops that aren't MAGA establishments.

3. Buy or support absolutely nothing owned by Elon.

Dems are okay with Bill of Rights violating gun control, censorship, hate speech laws, etc. and they bate struct constructionism in the courts, preferring “a living, breathing constitution” so The State has more flexibility to do things that are not strictly constitutional. This used to be a point of pride for Dems. Disliking founding father fetishists, tea partiers, constitutional scholars, etc.

But now that Dems are getting their ox gored, they are hallucinating constitutional principles preventing the executive branch from auditing and managing itself, granting tenure to bureaucrats, and prohibiting any pauses in the spending of taxpayer dollars. It’s all pretty funny to watch.

Congressional Dems were happy to delegate spending decisions to the executive branch as long as spending was increasing. They only seem to care about their power of the purse when spending CUTS are threatened. Lol. A bunch of real fife and drum 1789 types.
