It's time to fill the streets. Create a viral TV moment. Maybe it's the April 5 protest here in DC. Capture the news cycle. Revolt publicly against this grifter-dictator. Enough is enough.

exactly this!

Check your local area where you live. Your favorite restaurant or doctors office might be funding extremism. https://www.vpap.org/money/donors-per-locality/

Thanks for posting. Both parties have issues, but Republicans are actively trying to subvert democracy at this point.

One of my favorite restaurant is on this list . People in Northern Virginia should really check to see if their restaurant is supporting the cult.

YOU are the cult. You literally sound like a cult when you say this. If you use at least a couple of adjacent brain cells together you will realize that IF there is some "evil" that's trying to control you, then what's better than dividing the masses and pegging them one against another. This way people with the same issues who are trying solve them will never unite together to find any valid solutions and they don't need to be offered at all. Instead, psychological war and division will consume their resources. Based on political parties, race, age, gender, various fears, and now, businesses people patronize.

Exactly, Democrat Marxism 101.

What will your response be when you are no longer in good graces with the establishment? I am neither a democrat nor a republican (previously I have voted for both parties depending on who I think is the best candidate), but I am very concerned about the lack of self-reflection among people supporting the current events. What makes you think that you won’t become a victim of your own ideology? Just think for a moment please. If there is no rule of law or enforceable standards for anything what is stopping the administration from throwing you in jail or disappearing you?

You don't think there weren't enough people not in good graces with the previous establishment that paid the price? All you had to do is refuse a Covid shot to have your life change forever. Try to question CRT struggle sessions your work place imposed and you are gone. People speaking out against anything previous establishment was doing were censored, fired, and lost friendships and relationships with family.

I don’t agree with mandating the covid vaccine either, but that is irrelevant to what I am saying now. My question is why do you think that completely ignoring the rule of law and judges orders won’t impact you? I’m legitimately curious about your perspective on this.

I’m willing to bet you didn’t stand up and say a thing about Covid vaccine mandates when those voices really mattered.

Not only they didn't stand up, they cheered on thousands of people losing their careers and wished death upon them, denial of health coverage, sending them to isolation camps or away from society. They cheered on stupid vaxxports too. It was a test, and I am sorry to say, so very many had failed. Failed to see beyond propaganda and stupid celebrities and political agendas. Failed to even listen to CDC! Timeline doesn't even logically add up.

This is a major reason why so many Democrats left the Democrat Party of Death and Destruction.

I’ve grown up in a de facto failed state in the 1990s and what I am seeing starts to reseat I saw there. Tons of hasty economic decisions, self serving or stupid economic advisors (some of them from the states!), inflation, corruption, anger displacement towards vulnerable groups, the list goes on and on.

I think most Americans don’t have the antidote I do. To them I want to say: it’s too late, you aren’t in a democracy anymore, your usual methods like protests won’t serve anything except destroy you and your family.

All you can do right now is try to survive. Lay low, don’t look weird in any way, avoid showing any criticism towards the current administration. Keep your head down, do your job well, look for opportunities. Have cash savings. Buy the bigger things you need now.
Try not to rely on government for any assistance. I would add try to immigrate but Canada is inundated by questionable refugees and might have a right wing government soon,
Australia has always been weirdly strict about things from bringing pets into the country to regulating covid, UK is too small, so the only half decent country left is NZ that’s unfortunately a bit small and out in the boonies.

Let’s hope it’s only for 4 years but honestly I am not holding my hopes high

There should be a massive uprising at this point. We should be filling the streets day in and day out. We should be everywhere these politicians go. It should be impossible for them to live their lives in peace right now. We need to be impossible to ignore. Democrats in congress need to be unrelenting. Our rights and our livelihoods are being stripped away. We are living in fear. Looking forward to midterms is not enough. There will be nothing left by then.

Our economy was fine. Trump is destroying it with Tariffs and blowing up our relationships with traditional allies in europe, North America and South America. Those allies are the markets our companies sell into. People worldwide are BOYCOTTING USA goods and services. How is that good for our businesses or our economy?

There is a lot of politics here in addition to economics. and our own country is divided with a "war" between the sides that does nothing to benefit regular people caught in the middle. One side sabotages another. I don't miss Biden's times either. All we got out of it is higher RE taxes and fewer services. With a lot of work relying purely on volunteers.

Agree. There is no doubt Biden is the second worse POTUS ever. The interesting thing about this is both his predecessor and successor is the worst POTUS ever. Surely, we can be do better in 2028. C'mon people!

I think it’s safe to say Trump is the worst by some margin. He’s in a league all by himself. You can’t even really think of him as a president. But I’d say Reagan and W are about tied for a distant second.

Trump is low IQ and possibly suffering from early dementia. He has failed at every business he has ever owned. He is an infantile, spiteful, grifting, con man. He has divided our country by lying and he tried to overturn a legitimate election. I can't think of a worse US politician in my lifetime.

He will go down in History as the worst, most divisive, un-American, anti-Constiution president of all time.

I agree! I went to two events today and it's always older white women. Come on, everyone. React!

W should hang his head in shame. Responsible for nearly everything happening now. Reagan very close 2nd.
