Cuz the only one of those ingredients I have is butter. Less expensive to just buy the cookies and a lot less work considering I’ve never made homemade cookies in my life.

Absolutely do this for yourself before you die.

Homemade cookies fresh from your oven are one of life's great pleasures.

Yeah, the thing is I really hate cooking, hate cleaning up from it, and would be annoyed to have all that stuff left over. Waste of money.

There’s no such thing as leftover cookies

Try the Pillsbury cookie dough from the refrigerated section. I’m sure dcum will scoff at it, but they are good fresh from the oven without having to make the dough yourself. Back in the day when my metabolism ran high I would make them all the time. So good!

Childs play. Costco used to sell cookie dough by the bucket.

Got the suvie oven. We are really enjoying it - especially on the weeknights! You can cook different meals for different people and most of the meals have been good. Not as good as homemade, but my teens are especially liking it. Also air fries - so, for example, the chicken will air fry and the rice and broccoli will be oven-cooked. Scan the recipe and the oven cooks automatically. I think there are other versions of this oven too.

Also, "high protein" foods that are not usually arent' so good like blueberry muffins and oatmeal packages.

When my DH makes dinner, he makes rice with nothing on it. I hate that. I like rice, a lot, but not dry...

Ugh same

Oh gosh I thought "suvie" was written by people who didn't know the words "sous vide". Didn't realize it was a branded thing.

All of their food court stuff except the soda makes me sick. My kids wanted to try the churro and soft serve hack. I was too sick after a couple bites to leave the bathroom for an hour. The manager came in to check on me.

Ok that’s crazy and I’d never show back up at that Costco.

TJ's mochi cake mix. I'm sad I wasted money, time and butter and EGG$$ on this when I could have made their brownie or blondie mix. This smelled and tasted like play-doh. Don't do it.

Having explosive diarrhea in a Costco bathroom after two bites of ice cream is peak DCUM

I tried the Zao Stamina ramen in downtown Bethesda. The broths are just OK, but the noodles are home-made, slightly chewier than the conventional kind, and I love them.

Georgetown cupcakes. Gross.

My husband LOVES the ice cream from Trader Joe’s, both the chocolate and the vanilla.

My family thinks the vanilla from TJ's is the best - never even wanted to try the chocolate, the vanilla is so good

We tried the speculoos ice cream and thought it was awful. Would not recommend

Thanks! The TJ brownie mix is amazing.

The Costco take and bake Margherita pizza is excellent.

Went to Insomnia cookies recently. Not impressed by their cookies and their coffee was disgusting.

That actually sounds more like a food allergy/ intolerance than something wrong with the churros and ice cream. Not even food poisoning would take effect that quickly.

Or maybe she was just getting food poisoning from whatever she had for breakfast that day?

Either way, blaming Costco here seems to be missing the mark.

I just assume that PP is one of our resident crazies

Don’t order pizza from Wegmans, we ordered it for a birthday party ( because we wanted to order cupcakes and it’s delicious), and neither adults nor kids enjoyed the pizza at all.
