I Tried It So You Don't Have To

Yes- they really are underwhelming! We bought a 6-pack and they are just sitting. I guess I can add the Top Ramen seasoning to them!

Safeway's carrot cake slice and 4-pack of cinnamon buns. They cannot be that bad usually; must have been a bad day. I never buy anything from the bakery, but I had cravings and they looked good.
Ended up throwing both out. It had to be a bad day with broken over or trying to bring old pastry to life. They were not expired or even 1+ days old.

Hun, you need to cook them.

I mixed a package with some ground chicken that I browned with taco seasoning for a really great white chicken chili. They have other flavors too, all good, but the chile verde flavor is my favorite.

Is this a positive review or negative review?

I tried the Zao Stamina ramen in downtown Bethesda. The broths are just OK, but the noodles are home-made, slightly chewier than the conventional kind, and I love them.

Georgetown cupcakes. Gross.

Thank you for the Callebaut suggestion. All my recent chocolate purchases (for eating and baking) have been awful, just inedible--guittard, ghiradelli, baker's (shudder), hershey's cocoa powder. I hope Callebaut is better.

We buy these just for the noodles and throw away the seasoning!

Your husband didn't crack a tooth on a peppercorn. It may have been a foreign object in the grinder, or in the meal. It was not a peppercorn.

Agreed, not good, I tried two varieties...spicy and the soy w/scallions

I've always wanted to get to Momofuku in NYC...

I have always been underwhelmed by Momofuku products and restaurants. They never taste that good, often oversalted or one note. It is so overhyped.

I like the Momofuku noodles!

They are really good in the air fryer.

My kid loves these. Note, there are different flavors.

People around here have weak teeth because they avoid fluoride.

Cuz the only one of those ingredients I have is butter. Less expensive to just buy the cookies and a lot less work considering I’ve never made homemade cookies in my life.

Absolutely do this for yourself before you die.

Homemade cookies fresh from your oven are one of life's great pleasures.

Yeah, the thing is I really hate cooking, hate cleaning up from it, and would be annoyed to have all that stuff left over. Waste of money.

Try the Pillsbury cookie dough from the refrigerated section. I’m sure dcum will scoff at it, but they are good fresh from the oven without having to make the dough yourself. Back in the day when my metabolism ran high I would make them all the time. So good!

I dislike our new Instant Pot air fryer. Nothing tastes as good as oven made and it still offgasses plastic smell. It cooks faster but is not necessarily easier to clean than a tray. Way overhyped.
