Trader Joe's Root Beer cookie bites - are super good. I'm sending some to my dad for fathers day. They even have a bit of pop rocks in them. They are totally a dad snack.

Trader Joe's sea salt chocolate chunk cookies. Review: Awful, don't buy them. The sea salt is uneven in the application. There are small bits of chocolate but nothing I would call a "chunk".

You must have gotten a bad batch because I get these and they're really good. I'm not on the east coast so maybe a different supplier.

It comes out just fine every time.

I have some fancy basmati rice where the directions actually tell me to strain the rice! So clutch on those pearls everyone. It comes out really nicely!

My brother dated a girl from Bangladesh for a while and she cooked the rice in a lot of water and strained it.

Trader Joe’s dried baby bananas. So disgusting!!

They have this weird taste and weird smell. They even look gross with this gray/brown color.

I actually returned them. I have never returned anything at TJs before.

All of their food court stuff except the soda makes me sick. My kids wanted to try the churro and soft serve hack. I was too sick after a couple bites to leave the bathroom for an hour. The manager came in to check on me.

I can’t eat fried food and soft serve together so I don’t. I don’t blame the store

Coscto changed their churros a few years back. They used to have the best churros. Really high quality, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, not too sweet. Now I find them too sweet and too crunchy, kind of stale and greasy.

When I see someone buying a big sized pizza, I have total empathy for them. I have been there and it usually means: (1) you have a bunch of teen or preteen boys coming to your house and just need to fill them up or they will eat everything in your cupboards like termites on a tear; or (2) you are at the end of your rope and even the idea of putting frozen ravioli in a pot of boiling water to feed your children just feels like too much, so you are buying that pizza.

the kodiak stuff is mostly gross. I have been able to make the mixes work by finding specific recipes online. But I never understand people raving about them being delicious. They are not delicious at all. They are passable/adequate at best.

The initial Kodiak pancake mix was good and really healthy. I used to make that all the time as a quick dinner with fruit on the side. Then it developed a cult following and they expanded into all sorts of things that were disgusting, like the brownie mix or the muffin mix or the frozen stuff.

We got uncooked edible cookie dough from Costco and it was disgusting -- it was a new brand they were trying out and I guess it was vegan (why you can eat it uncooked) and maybe also gluten free. It was equally disgusting cooked or raw. Don't shop when you're hungry or things like this look like a good choice.
