Vance on tape bashing childless teachers, says they "brainwash & destroy the minds of children". What is wrong with him?

Yes, because the idea is to close public schools and homeschool.

And they'll close the public libraries too.

Every crazy belief he has is directly contradicted by another crazy belief he has. Besides the absurdity of a supposed Catholic objecting to the historic mission of nuns, he’s the guy who also wants women with children to stop working and have maximum babies. How can anyone be so oblivious to say that moms shouldn’t work outside the home, women with no kids shouldn’t work with kids, and the only purpose for women whose kids are grown is to take care of their grandchildren? It seems pretty clear that the just doesn’t approve of women no matter what they do. This guy isn’t qualified for any job dealing with people or their life choices. He has negative personality.

I believe that there has been a shift in reading materials for children over the last decade or two. I believe a lot of parents, who are more conservative than the schools, are deeply upset about it. These are the real “culture wars” that we hear about. The Karens vote.

No one is talking about climate change family finances or other long term issues much. It’s books and protecting grade schoolers now. Religious stuff. The shift is happening and Vance is seizing on the malcontent.

We’ll see if there are enough marginalized grumpy voters for him. But they are real, agree or disagree.

Teacher here. I was a teacher for 8 years before I had a kid. Does he expect people in their 20's and early 30's not to teach? We have a teaching shortage if he hasn't noticed.

Also, I think I was probably a better teacher before I had a kid. It's a hard job and I had less time for it after my kid. It was a good thing that I had put in the early years without a a kid (because it's even harder in your first years on the job).

Some of the best teachers don't have kids!

You’re describing 2022. I haven’t seen anywhere near as much of the book banning since then. Family finances are the number one issue in this election and culture wars in schools are very far down the list. DeSantis’s slate of Moms for Liberty candidates just lost.

Didn't his MIL basically raise the kids while his wife worked in the law firm?

Very well said. I want to know what his LSAT scores were. There is no way this guy got into Yale Law the normal way...with great grades and LSAT scores. Someone "back-doored him in_

Yes. Vance is a gelded prole who married up, so he trips over himself to bootlick the wealthy in-laws, while distancing himself from his own low born bio family. In Vance's case, he wrote a book smearing his own mother as essentially a belligerent crack whore and everyone he grew up around as racist and lazy pieces of crap.

He's clearly a fake Catholic convert; he's an atheist or a secret Hindu with his wife and kids. Wife and kids are not Catholic.[/quote

He's totally a fake Catholic. He told Kamala to "go to hell" on a made up charge.

In the memoir, he overshared every detail about his life, including his mother allegedly being the salutatorian of her high school (recently proved to be a lie), but zero mention of his:

- high school GPA or class rank, ex. salutatorian
- ACT or SAT score
- Ohio State GPA or grad honors
- LSAT score
- YLS class rank or grad honors (note: YLS doesn't grade real grades, so it's easy to frame every student as brilliant)

We know why none of that was shared, because any piece of it would prove what a fraud he is. He's a rube from central casting.

Even worse, it's a freaking script someone else wrote for him. He read it anyways. Really devout guy.

I see the DCUM liberal echo chamber spewing hate. lies, and propaganda is alive and well this morning. It seems some things never change.

The only teachers I know who can afford to continue to be teachers are childless.
