Vance on tape bashing childless teachers, says they "brainwash & destroy the minds of children". What is wrong with him?

He is a fringe nutcase. How is he on a major party's ticket when he is not only nuts he has very limited political experience?

Just 2 yrs of experience in the Senate and he keeps sharing fringe reactionary views.

And the cherry on top is his complete lack of charm.

This man ain’t right. He has pure hatred for women and the hate comes from a dark place. His memoir detailed on public record his deep hatred for his own mother. He hates that no women would give his creepy ass the time of day until he was a late 20s law student and had to be set up with a girlfriend by his professors. If he is in fact a closeted or repressed gay man, he hates himself for not being attracted to women. He needs a shrink. It’s actually really sad this damaged middle aged man is exposing how mentally unwell he is to the world as a public official.

What a mess Trump's pick has been. Trump is so crazy he needed someone stable and mainstream to balance him out. Everyone said no except Vance, so he got stuck with the VP candidate Trump deserved: charmless, Aunt Lydia type conservative whack job who can't connect to any Americans.

So I think Vance is onto something.

Whether a particular teacher has "an agenda" is probably not related at all to whether they have kids, and in many parts of the country there are public schools which pretty heavily promote Christian agendas as much as they can get away with.

I do not agree with this. I do not connect with this. BUT there is a lot about this topic in NoVa over the past five years. He says it bc it’s popular. There are literally factions of the book banners v the new book lovers. There is SO much social media on this. There are screen shots of excerpt from racy children’s book (Think Judy Bloom but with a non traditional identity teen). Sorry to say friends, parents do flip out. I have seen and heard them at PTOs . He is talking to the PTO brigade.

Look at the local races. These parents run on these polarizing issues.

I wonder if he had his own awakening when he had kids and is projecting his pre-chilled self on to others without kids.

I'm not defending him, because I haven't followed this, but I will say I now have an awareness about and am deeply invested in child-related issues since having a kid. A lot of these issues like education policy, school funding, school choice, paid maternity leave, health care, college tuition, etc., I was vaguely aware of before, but now I'm digging into the details.
