Vance on tape bashing childless teachers, says they "brainwash & destroy the minds of children". What is wrong with him?

Anonymous
He’s probably right to some degree. There are teachers with agendas, and they attempt to influence children. I can recall my 4th and 6th grade teachers, whom I now in hindsight know were extremely liberal, defending Bill Clinton when my own mother and father were aghast and shocked by his behavior, for something I didn’t even understand at the time. But Ms Davis (single and childless, btw) had a framed portrait of Clinton on her desk. Creepy AF in retrospect.

So I think Vance is onto something.

As a teacher with four kids, let me tell you, you want the teacher with no kids.

Not if your focus is controlling women. It’s not about education, it’s about controlling women.

Yeah I'm from a small midwestern town and had some real right-wingers as teachers and also one clear racist who used to make derogatory remarks about black kids in a nearby town. They definitely had agendas. It was a "teachable" moment though for my parents who used to talk to us about what the teachers said so we could regard their remarks critically. Definitely a great lesson from mom and dad.

I had nuns as teachers. All of them childless. And for sure they had an agenda, ho boy!!!! So maybe he IS on to something.

Someone upthread nailed it; it's about forcing women to derive status in society through childrearing (see also comments about childcare as the main purpose for postmenopausal women). The thoughts and achievements of women outside of this paradigm are devalued.

There are surely many types of teachers "with agendas" but he is only singling out childless women as having a pernicious impact on children.

He’s basically a hick gentile version of Stephen Miller.

Very good analysis. He needs a shrink. His mom was a deadbeat druggie and his dad bolted. He is simply messed up. We don't need him anywhere near The White House. It is so embarrassing that the biggest losers tend to be from a Ohio (where I grew up). The WSJ had a funny article about "weird Ohio" recently-

Why is he so focused on whether people have kids or not?

Breeder fetish, but unable to perform himself. That is what masculinity means to him, but he can't hack it. That's where the rage comes from.

The man is a time traveler.

How else could you explain "Skibidee Ohio rizz" as a slang term before Vance got famous?
