Irrational jealousy?

You can be mad at your husband but no one else. And when would have been a good time for your child? You can pull a first grader out.

My husband went and joined the 5 couples. I stayed back alone to be with the kids. I’m quite resentful of my husband and especially the birthday person. He half-heartedly said I could bring my kid but I know it would be inappropriate and it’s smack in the middle of the school year. Am I just being irrational with jealousy of everybody? Not just my husband?

Yet another example of waiting way too long to have kids leading to social and mental health issues.

This. It sounds like Dad wasn’t ready to be a Dad yet. Maybe he’ll feel ready when he’s 70.

He already was a dad. He just didn't want OPs oopsie baby at 50.

He was probably planning his escape from her and now he's trapped for longer.

Then why didn’t he get a vasectomy?

Men, even 50 year old dudes: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SPERM.

Is that clear?

It seems pretty obvious that both OP and her husband aren't operating on full cylinders. They both seem immature and dumb.

Hey OP, maybe this person can be your friend. You both seem like miserable people!

OP’s husband should go to Target or Walmart and buy a bunch of bananas and some Trojans if he’s too chicken to get a simple vasectomy. That’s how I taught my 18 year old how to be responsible for his choices and his reproduction. It works for old guys, too. Better late than never.

OP sounds tiring and petty. I’m sure everyone is having a great time without you.
