Why is that hard? America is not split between white america and black america. There isn't two countries in America. There is just America and all citizens given freedoms, white americans, black americans, hispanic americans, etc.

Am I missing something in my logic? Why cannot the Palestenians be granted Israeli citizenship and become citizens?

Because a Jewish state assumes a Jewish majority and a Jewish rule. That's why.

Why does there have to be a Jewish state at the expense of the Palestinian people. In what other circumstances do we allow ethno and religious states? We didn't allow America to become a "White" country. No one split South Africa into two.

If Jewish people want to live in Israel, fine, but you don't get to cleanse the place of everyone else who lives there, and you don't get to disenfranchise those people and treat them as second class citizens. It's not a sustainable solution and was never an appropriate response to the Holocaust. It just feeds into this idea of Jewish supremacy, and isn't any different than white supremacy and other such nonsense.

It is different, though. Sorry but Jews are special. Truly they’ve been persecuted throughout history and everyone kinda hates them. If they want to be left alone to in their own state, it’s the most reasonable basis for “supremacy” that ever existed.

I don’t buy that propaganda, Jews are no more special than anyone else.
And by the way, the Gypsies in Europe have been persecuted more

Name another group that’s been persecuted as a matter of government policy (not just random bigotry) as much?

Roma (wtf with “Gypsies”) are itinerant and don’t want a state, so it’s not a good analogy. If they did, however, maybe they’d have similar claim to necessary protection.

Plenty
The native Americans, black slaves in the US, the Russian rule has always been brutal to all ethnic minorities, plenty oppressed in China, South America has its own stories, Zulu empire was brutal

The list goes on

Russian “oppression” is not the same thing as mass killing targeting an ethnic group. Russia has deported certain groups and but not mass murdered them. Also Russia is awful to everyone includes Russians who were serfs/slaves. Same with China’s treatment - re-educating Uyghurs is awful but they aren’t slaughtering them en masse. Please be more specific about “South America.” What ethnic group was singled out for extermination by the Zulu empire? What are you even talking about. Yes, lots of governments are brutal and awful. No, no cohesive national group has been so consistently persecuted as the Jews.

Zionism was founded in order to save Jews from Russian pogroms. If the Russian pogroms weren't that bad then well whoops to your argument.

Wrong. The PLO said yes. It is the Israelis that changed their mind after Rabin was assasinated by Israeli terrorists.

Yigal Amir was not a terrorist. He was following Jewish law. Many rabbis had proclaimed din rodef. There is no hope for the Palestinians.

Please don't delete this. Sunlight is the best disinfectant of open calls for genocide.

Calling it a genocide is so hyperbolic. You sound hysterical. Palestinians attacked Israelis. There has been a back and forth of attacks for decades. Neither party is innocent. Both sides keep perpetuating the violence. As for the person posting about Amir above, s/he is being hyperbolic just like you. Both of you are flip sides of the same coin.

A terrorist organization attacked Israel. The vast majority of people Israel has murdered were innocent of that crime. The goal is ethnic cleansing. Denying that this is a genocide in process ignores what you can plainly see with your eyes, and what many Israeli officials have stated outright.

Zionism was founded in order to save Jews from Russian pogroms. If the Russian pogroms weren't that bad then well whoops to your argument.

Don’t be ridiculous. Your argument was about all the supposedly equally oppressed ethnic minorities OTHER THAN JEWS.

Of course. Russia does it to everybody and it's not that bad. So by that logic...

The only pogroms in Russia you cited were against Jews. Russia sucks period. But Jews have been specially targeted. The Pale of Settlement was for Jews.

Well yes, but you claimed that Russia does it to everyone and that what they do isn't that bad.

I did not claim that. I was responding the claims about treatment of “all ethnics minorities.” I said it’s bad to minorities, yes. That’s not the same thing as saying they were as bad as they were to Jews.

As a matter of fact, most pogroms happened in present day Ukraine.
