When someone writes “these acts are closer to a prank than a crime” and multiple people agree - that is both excusing and minimizing.

Because that is reality. He is being accountable for his crime. It's just not a "heinous" crime that requires him to be locked up with adults for an extended period of time - which would do more to send him on the wrong path than treatment.

There's no point arguing with these people. I complained on another thread about public transit that I refused to ride it after I had my breast squeezed by a "gentleman" passenger and I was told to suck it up because that's just part of living in a city.

there is something wrong with this person mentally. it’s not lack of “guidance.” it’s a mental issue and possibly a history of abuse. serial sexual abusers start young. but very nice that you care so much about him, and nothing about his future victims of escalated assaults.
