DH pressuring me to make more money

Op my husband makes about 1M and I’m a fed attorney and he constantly tells me to go back to private practice. Mostly bc of how much I can have to work bc of my caseload. Could it be that?

So many haters with bad math skills. Please look at Federal income tax rate - add social security - add medicare - add state and county income tax - maybe add AMT for those with deductions. Without including sales tax or property tax or gas tax, you are still easily at 50% for incomes above $500K. Maybe that’s right or maybe it’s wrong, but it is what it is.

If shes4 days a week at SEC (so 80 percent) that would be totally legit. I don’t think going to a firm is so unlikely either. I’m 80 percent at another agency and I could get a counsel making more money. Her husband is either sneaky or nuts but she may not be a troll.
