I wanted to love these Reeboks, but they were too bulky for me (as are Sam Smiths). Keds are too narrow - I want the modern version of Keds. I really want ASICS/Onitsuka Mexico 66, which were my go to shoes in my 20s, but they are sold out everywhere in my size.

I buy wide Keds even though I don’t normally buy wide shoes, and they work perfectly.

I got these ASICS/Onitsuka shoes which are a little different from the Mexico 66 but similar and still well stocked: https://www.onitsukatiger.com/us/en-us/mexico-delegation/p/ANA_1183B954-250.html?

I really like the cream/white color combo and I've gotten a lot of compliments

Those are dad sneakers. Most women like to have both dad sneakers and sleek/low profile sneakers...the two pair with different outfits. There are IT dad sneakers and also IT sleek sneakers.

Anyway, as established at the beginning of this thread, Dad sneakers have been supplanted by Sambas and their ilk
