So, you’re just okay with not hiring Mormons then? |
Gasp, not all Mormons go to BYU. |
So you flat out refuse to hide from most basic state schools? Like GMU, UMD, VCU? |
FWIW, I went to a big state university and am neither a Christian nor a Mormon, but I find it interesting and disgusting how bigoted people are in the name of being open minded. |
Define “commuter school,” along with percentage of students who live off-campus by class year and list exactly all of the schools you’re referring to. |
So no poor people. |
|
Liberty, Hillsdale.
Probably a few other obscure religious extremist universities. |
Every public university? |
Is UMD a commuter school given that 90% freshmen live on campus? I went to a commuter school out west, and eventually worked for a FAANG, one of the higher performers on my team. Oh well. |
Yes it is, 63% of students in total live off-campus including some freshmen. |
I went to a commuter school, West Chester University in Pa (where I’m from). Tuition was $5k/year when I attended in the 2000s. The ROI was excellent; I have zero regrets. |
Well, their career center needs an upgrade. The resumes I see coming out of places like Liberty might as well be a handwritten scrawl on a napkin. Pure trash. I'm willing to keep an open mind, but again, you need to compete. |
| Liberty. Nope. |
Wait, you mean there are people like that outside of Long Island? |
| I don’t discriminate. I ask questions during the interview to determine qualifications and fit. Most of my staff went to schools I never heard of and they are smart, creative and fantastic employees. |
