Matthew Perry

I don't think he is. But this comment MP made about him seemed very unncessary and petty. If he threw Jennifer Aniston or another cast member under the bus, that would make sense because he worked with them for years. No one associates Keanu and MP together - they might have been in a movie together decades ago or been friends but it's not a well known pair so it seems weird.

He had no problem throwing Valerie Bertinelli under the bus and he worked with her. He's a tool. He's trying to play the sarcastic Chandler card so people think he's cute but he's making himself look worse. Good for him for overcoming addiction and telling his story--leave other people's dirty laundry out of it.

I was actually interested in his memoir - I think he's pretty talented in acting from his guest roles. But the snippets that are coming out from his book - the Keanu and Valerie references - I'm not sure why he's writing about EVERYTHING he feels - that's kinda too much I think. Kinda turned me off from his book although I still his his primary motivation to help others by sharing his story is sincere. Let's face it, he's got enough enough that the book isn't just to make him more. He risks a lot by writing his experiences but I think he maybe should have kept it focused on himself and not name dropped so much!

Agreed. I was looking forward to his memoir but the snippets have made me less so. It's all so sad. What a wasted life.

lol he has some Salma Hayek anecdotes as well that make her sound a bit silly with her acting advice (which is quick to say he ignored).

At this rate we won’t need to buy the book.

Oh man Fools Rush In is one of my favorite guilty pleasure lazy Saturday cable movies. That bums me out.

What did he and Valerie Bertinelli do together?

Made out while Eddie was passed out nearby.

Agreed. If Matthew Perry had kept clean, he would have landed a lot more tv and movie roles.

He was good in west wing and I loved that short lived sit com he had where he ran the LA convention center, Mr sunshine. Andrea anders was great in that.

Fools Rush In is one of those movies I watched numerous times (when I had cable and would stumble upon it). Side note: without cable and only antenna TV and streaming services, I no longer channel surf. I guess that's a thing of the past that future generations won't understand.

He probably should have left out the anecdotes that make others look bad, but maybe the editors or publishers pushed him for such content.

Are these really the most famous women he was linked to? Seems pretty low rung. And why a 10 year gap from 96 to 06, which was the peak of his fame and prime looks?

"Perry dated Yasmine Bleeth in 1995. He also dated Julia Roberts from 1995 to 1996. He later dated Lizzy Caplan from 2006 to 2012."

Aside from being unmarried and childless (something he could still do), hardly a "wasted life." He was on one of the most classic sitcoms on all time, which allegedly still makes him over $1M a month off royalties.

Really?? I had no idea the cast was still making that kind of money.

Someone threw out they're still making $20M a year each but that seems a bit high??

This. Plus he looks like absolute shit. If he had 9 million to spend on getting sober, I think he can pony up 500k to fix his face and body.

People age. And addicts don’t age well.

Focus in more than the superficial.
