I'll definitely read it. I can't wait. I totally forgot (or never knew) he ever-so-briefly dated Julia Roberts. I knew he had addiction issues and am completely unbothered by the way he looks (prefer it to the nipped and tucked look, actually).

PP again. His interview with Diane Sawyer airs tomorrow night. I usually don't watch celebrity interviews, but I'm interested to hear what he has to say. He was a mess at the FRIENDS reunion.

Chandler is my favorite Friends character (second favorite: Phoebe). The others are so annoying. I do not get the impression that Matthew Perry was/is a jerk in real life. Mentally ill with addiction, certainly. But sincere and genuine, yes.

And I don't care at all that he looks ugly.

I think he blames Keanu for River’s death. And maybe he blames Keanu for his own addiction?

I think Keanu might actually blame himself. He led a weird life following the OD.

I think the Keanu stuff might have been taken out of context, blown out of proportion. Just a way of saying “these fantastic talents were taken from us so soon.” But that might just be me, because I say things like “why is Keith Richards still alive.”

I was half tempted to see him speak at the Warner Theater next month as a huge Friends fan and have always loved Chandler, but I kind of just want to think of him as Chandler on Friends and leave it at that. I think it's good that he is speaking out about his addiction troubles--maybe it will help someone else. He seems like a genuinely nice guy

I feel sorry for him. Celebrity is all he knows. Agree this all seems a bit narcissistic, and I can’t imagine anyone being interested in this in 2022.

Definitely blown out of proportion: Keanu is taciturn, which does not mean he's dumb. Matthew is talking about the choice of roles.

Also I had completely forgotten about his movie with River Phoenix! I used to love A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. We had it on VHS.
