I am not sure about that. A lot of people Del Ray support larger height buildings (ie the affordable housing waiver) …. except in Del Ray

No one want expanded height limits except developers and city council members who want to cram subsidised hosting everywhere including on school grounds!

Thus many Del Ray residents supported the car dealership’s request because the alternative would possibly be a large building (which many Del Ray residents like Wilson would support elsewhere in the city).

(Personally, I am ok with the car dealership staying (long time business, etc).

Why is Wilson such a big supporter of larger height buildings if it's clear residents oppose it? Is he benefiting in some way? I'm not political so I'm not sure how this works - can the developers fund his campaign or something in exchange for expanded height limits?
