That won’t happen your kid should be able to get merit aid from Pitt if stat good enough for UVA

the typical amount of merit aid Pitt has been giving the past couple of years won’t bring the oos tuition to the same as uva in state tuition.

NP. COA for Engineering at UVA in-state is $46,000. Typical merit from Pitt will get you right there.

You mean the Typical merit Is 10k?

Received letter for $20K / year merit over the weekend!

Dc was recently admitted to Dietrich Arts and Sciences! The letter says admitted as an intended Political Science major (I assume DC must have checked that when they applied). I assume that doesn’t mean that DC is bound by that major within Arts & Sciences, correct?

DS with high stat got $5000 for CS, is the amount major dependent?

I have a question. When people say their DC got x amount in merit does this mean each year? Or is that a one year grant?

We are new at this.

Thanks.

Is merit being communicated only via letter? Appear in the student portal?
