People who have refused to watch the Jan. 6 hearings

I haven't watched the hearings. What's there to be learned? It's been blatantly obvious since January 6th that the Trump Administration and some high-ranking Republicans in Congress were complicit in the coup.

What the Democrats don't seem to understand is that hearings aren't going to change many (if any) minds. Folks on the left have already made up their minds about Trump's guilt. Folks on the right have already made up their minds about Trump's innocence. The chasm between the Left and Right is so wide right now that facts and figures can't cross over; they just fall into the abyss.

That chasm consists of Republican partisans that are resistant to facts.
