You believe "they" are trying to make trump look bad because you refuse to expose yourself to any other type of evidence.

NP. We’ve been bathing in this shrill crap for years. Trump is a brainworm for the stupidest+laziest members of the political class. How about working on the scary problems facing the country? Remember that well-worn phrase from the recent past, “country over party”!

All the RWNJ morons who haven't watched the bipartisan hearings with testimony and depositions from fellow Republicans/Conservatives and yet have strong feelings about it being one-sided sound like children who cover their ears and yell la-la-la to avoid hearing painful news.

Modern conservatism everyone!

What about progressives like me who think the legislature has more urgent issues to face? I’m happy with DOJ prosecuting, but this is clearly a charade to fool people like you.

Are you able to walk and chew gum at the same time? A bunch of legislation has been passed in 2021-2022 - it looks like you're not paying attention. Just this past weekend, the Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act and it's expected to go through the House this week.

I doubt your honesty comrade.

Oh, no longer content to pretend being a “moderate dem”? You’re a “progressive” now?

I’m probably a radical at this point, but I have a habit of trying to play nice with middlebrows and simpletons.

So, what is the reason we should watch a hearing on an unpopular ex president?

It’s the anti-Trump reunion tour, they’ve promised a great show!

Holding the perpetrators of an attempted coup accountable is the bare minimum requirement for maintaining representative democracy. Every issue is important: Covid, the economy, health care, education, climate change, military power, and on and on…but we don’t have any say at all in how any of these issues are handled if we no longer have a democracy. The convergence of corruption at the highest levels, the MAGA cult of personality, and domestic terror groups posed/poses a grave threat to our country — the kind of threat Congress should be addressing.

Even if Trump is never President again, the Republican Party has been working diligently to rig the election apparatus in red states. They haven’t stopped attempting a coup; they’re just going about it more gradually.

You don’t have to watch if you don’t want to, but we all benefit from an informed electorate. If you don’t understand the importance of this investigation and its public airing, you are not informed.

Trying to overthrow our elected leaders and take over the government is a minor criminal issue.
Cool.

Compared to the many horrors that came before Trump, both R and D, 1/6 is a joke. It’s a minor criminal issue, if anything.

You are

A) Uninformed
B) Misinformed
C) Lying
D) Some combination of A, B and C

It's a little late to have hearings on Dick Cheney now, don't you think?

Take your whataboutism and shove up your pathetic a—. It’s not clever. It’s not helpful. It’s not relevant to anything that’s happening right now.
We have actual problems happening right now, but you want to rehash events from near 20 years ago, that we can’t change.
Get your head in the game.
