What is the issue with children hearing parents have healthy sex once in awhile???? I don’t like to be seen or heard, but if my kids happened to see/hear us I don’t see why anyone should be ashamed. If anything, children (including adult children) should be glad when their parents are having positive sex.

Accidental exposure is an accident but it is on the parents to limit the possibility of exposure. Not making sure that the door can be opened, white noise machines on, etc. are ridiculous. Children can KNOW about sex, safe sex, be in a sex-positive household without having to be subjected to hearing or seeing their parents have sex. Lock up sex toys, put pics/videos in a vault on your phone or computer, etc.

NO ONE IS GLAD for knowing their parents are having sex. No one is like oh good for mom shes on number #2, she is so lucky Dad has such a great tongue. In the abstract, of course, people are happy that other people have fulfilling sex lives AND it can be talked about in open ways but not family directly.

Couples can’t have sex in their own home until the kids are out? This country really has taken a nosedive. No one is saying it cant happen accidently but you cannot just free-for-all and act like everyone else is suppressed. Consent applies to this who will witness it or hear it. If you arent willing to negate possible instances of non-consenting persons witnessing or hearing it then you are just self-absorbed.
