Conservative couple married for 10 years, yet no children: Would you assume marital issues?

My mom married at 26 and had fertility issues. You didn't know that was possible? My parents adopted kids, although it was much easier then.

Haven’t caught up on this whole thread yet but I had fertility issues trying to conceive at 27. Endometriosis since teen years.

One of my best friends is a partner at a law firm (white shoe firm) and her husband is a partner at one of the larger accounting firms. They are quite conservative and have -no- plans for kids. If they want to fly the next day to Key West for that weekend or want to spend 10 days in Chamonix, they plan and simply go. No baby sitters, no day care, no "don't have any parties while we are gone."

One of them is a recovering mormon and the other is still quite catholic.

Sounds like they are childfree by choice and value their freedom. Good for them!
