I'm sorry that our unwillingness to send our kid in to be a disease vector isn't being counted as a reason to make the school close, but I am furious that MCPS is so willing to sacrifice its staff and the children who depend on them to appease some rabid and entitled parents, many of whom don't even have children in public schools..
This is disgusting, keeping schools open until they infect enough people. What the hell? How can any of you stand it? Apologies, I guess this falls into the rant territory we are trying to avoid with this thread. |
I'm confused about this. How are we blaming schools? The uptick in numbers is based on cases reported mostly while schools were on winter break, so they were infected somewhere other than school. So if we close schools and no one changes their behavior otherwise, there is no difference. Is there hard evidence that the majority of people were infected as a result of exposure AT school? |
