| My son wet the bed for a long time....I didn't realize how constipated he was. Also didn't realize how anxious he was. |
If we’re doing a long trip and kids likely to sleep some of it I would probably have them in pull-ups. |
| 11 yr son still doing this occasionally |
What does he use at night? It bother him that he still has accidents? |
| Did anyone go through a bedwetting phase as a child? How did your parents handle it? How long did it take you to outgrow it? |
I had problems with it until i was 14, my parents let me decide how to handle it so i decided to use goodnites. |
|
My eldest did not stay dry overnight until they were 10 and we put them on Desmopressin (DDAVP). It kicked in immediately and worked great. We took them off it after about 9-12 months and they stayed dry.
For some kids it is just that their body's biochemistry isn't "normal" for their age. |
Are they twins? How did you manage the accidents until they stopped? |
Does your kids have the same issue? I thought they just came out 10 years ago the most.. |
I had to look it up. They came out in 1994 but they didn’t look the same as they do now. |
They were white and I believe they were way more noticeable then they are now, I’m 30 I was a bed wetter till I was 10, so it’s normal that my 6 year old does it. |
Did you have those when you were having accidents? My brother wet the bed until about the 5th grade. I shared a room with him and remember he had something called Drypers. |
Not twins... They/them= non-binary kiddo They wore a Goodnight or Depends until they started meds. |
When did kiddo become non-binary? Do the Depends have like 6 tapes to fasten it? Kiddo able to mange that without assistance? |
Non-Binary identification was around 12. Not that uncommon in the middle school set. Not sure if they are exploring gender or if it will be lifelong identification. We are just respecting them Depends we had we pull on. My kid is off the chart for height and weight so Goodnights we’re just too small near the end. |
