Flex Academy at Langley... when will we get a decision??

Anyone registered for the Flex Academy at Langley summer camp heard anything since that vague email back on May 14th? I need to know if it's really happening but it's been radio silence since that last email. I've tried calling but I never hear back. Anyone had any luck finding anything out? It's supposed to start in less than two weeks....

Same! We are signed up at another location of their's but really would like to know what is happening. Our location doesn't start until end of the month though. But if it isn't happening, need my refund.

Still no update. Frankly, this is getting pretty annoying. Just send out an email saying we will decide by XX date and these are the options we are considering.

I had issues getting a response from Flex Academies at Langley about a refund for spring break camp, so their silence is not surprising.

I don’t think anyone works there anymore right now so maybe they are having trouble keeping up with emails coming in? This school shutdown has probably killed their business model. It’s sad.

I think you'll be fine. It's not a fly by night company. Owner is engaged in DC community. Probably just hoping it's a GO because all companies like this have really taken a hit.

Not enrolled in their summer camp, but I've had issues with them before. They were very late (later than many other companies) with giving updates about refunds for spring. They say they are running on low staff - I think just the owner is working/responding to emails at this point. Not sure how they could pull together a camp when they don't have adequate staffing levels.

NP. Camp is supposed to start in less than 3 weeks. I would have thought they would reach out by now, even if it is to cancel a few of the weeks. Here’s hoping we find out something today! For those following but not familiar with this camp, they required full payment (not deposit) up front. So a lot of us gave them several thousand dollars back in February. Ack!

This is immensely frustrating - at this point, I kinda just want my money back so I can plan something else.

Assume it's cancelled. Make a plan B.

If we cancel, we lose 15 pct of camp cost. If they cancel, I assume we'll get back 100 pct. Also, we kinda just need an update of some kind since just over 2 weeks away. People need to plan.

I'm very troubled by Flex Academies at this point. They must know whether they have permission to use Langley, or whether they have camp counselors in place, or if they have a plan for social distancing. I can assume it's cancelled, but where's the money I already paid for the entire summer? Their ongoing silence speaks volumes to me.
