Flex Academy at Langley... when will we get a decision??

I've contacted them 6 times (phone and direct emails) for more than two weeks, with only one 1.5 line email in response saying they will send out the new survey link "as soon as possible." There has been no mass notification to parents that the survey link no longer works. Seems like Flex is trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

I think my next step will be to contact NBC4, which recently did a nice piece on how great Flex Academies is.

They sent it out 5 weeks ago - why didn’t you fill it out earlier? We completed the survey right away and said expect refund in 30-45 days. We are in that period now.

Glad to hear the survey worked for you when you attempted to fill it out.

If the survey was only going to be active for a certain time, then that should have been indicated in the email. Plenty of families only signed up for the Flex Academies summer camps slated for the end of August, and may have been trying to request refunds more than two weeks prior to the start date of their camp.

The real issue here is transparency and forthright communication in a reasonable time frame, none of which have happened in my case.

Yeah, they have been terrible at communicating with us too. Fingers crossed they hold true to their promise of completing the refund by this Saturday!

Still waiting, their deadline for processing refunds is coming up soon. And my frustration level with them is rising. Don't think I'll ever use them again for anything.

I know! I keep checking my account for the credit. I really don’t want to have to take further action. The other camps We were enrolled in just gave their refunds Right away.

First, has anyone yet received their refund from the Flex Langley summer camp? Just curious if anyone was successful yet. I know they have two more days to meet their deadline.

Second, did anyone receive a confirmation that their survey went through (via email). I got a screen that said complete and sadly (stupidly) i didn't screenshot that assuming we would get an email confirmation. But it doesn't look like I did. Just wanted to see if there was some error in the processing of our particular survey. (I mean, I kind of think this is going to end up us a dispute with the credit card but I want to give them a chance.)

Still no refund, and I don't remember getting an email confirmation that they received my survey. I also checked and realized Headfirst hadn't refunded yet either.

No refund here either. And based on the fact that nobody has gotten their refunds yet tells me their excuse of our credit card processor can only handle X amount per day was total BS. What are odds they process all the refunds today or tomorrow before their deadline? Seems unlikely. So frustrated with them.

Well their stated 45 day deadline is up and no refund here. Also didn’t answer my ticket on the issue I submitted several
Days ago even though it clearly shows an assignment in the system. Sigh.

Did anyone receive their refunds?

Nope.

Still waiting. Don’t really know what to do at this point other than initiate a charge back.

OMG, just do a chargeback! Why do you all keep complaining on this thread. At some point, you all start to look like fools.

Because if you read the other thread on camp refunds, credit card companies are declining charge backs. And once the credit card declines, that’s it except for small claims. So I think most of us would still prefer for them to just do as they promised and issue refunds.

Then go to small claims. Do SOMETHING instead of complaining for months on this thread. I don't know why you all keep expecting this provider to do something different. Isn't that the definition of insanity?
