Flex Academy at Langley... when will we get a decision??

| We think they are not going to be allowed to use DCPS. cases are going back up. So we are going to wait it out for them to cancel. It sounds like it will take a while for refunds anyway (other parents saying spring after school took a while), so we thought better to wait it out. If they do decide to open, then we will likely cancel the remaining sessions we can. |

I think we are going to do the same. I agree, I can't imagine DCPS allows them to use their facilities this summer. But this plan only works as long as they update their plans at least 2 weeks ahead of time - any closer to the sessions and we can't cancel due to the 2 week cancelation policy. |

The city (DCPS) is not going to issue any permits for use of the space. My kids can't even go into Deal to collect their belongings. The school had a schedule that was sent out and then postponed. I am a DCPS teacher and only 6/22 was I allowed to go in the school and pack up my classroom.
There is no world where DCPS/DGS is going to allow Flex to operate a program in any school. |

I agree - can’t imagine DCPS gives them a green light. So either they are in denial or need the money. |

| They sent an email this afternoon. Sounds like the answer is still that they don't know and haven't heard anything from DCPS. But the email did indicate that we could request our money back, and a method for requesting a refund will be sent out by July 2. So fingers crossed they follow through with that option and timing. |
