And bow do you know none of them could be "blamed?" |
| Another day without finding her? At this point they might have to use divers. Maybe her body is caught up in the bottom of the ocean. |
Any other reason for taking off her outer clothes, and placing them on the chaise? Enlighten us. |
They were probably also groggy from drinking and didn't sleep much due to late night partying and power outage. |
Because they are "important"?
|
They wanted to go to bed. She didn't. Should they have dragged her against her will? |
It’s you again. I went to McDonalds today. It’s logical to infer I chose to go there. You’re not the feminist you think you are. Because something bad happened to this young woman, we don’t get to then decide it wasn’t the result of a decision she made. We don’t get to play women make decisions for themselves, but if something bad happened it must not be their fault. There is evidence to indicate she chose to go in the water. There is zero evidence to support that any decisions made were not her own. |
Or her friends observing the behaviors at the beach and deciding it was safe to leave her? |
This^. What if they guy drugged her or got her drunk and then took her to the beach? What if guy is innocent and she just drowned? What if both she and the guy passed out and someone kidnapped her? Blaming the victim is insensitive anyways but more so when we don't know what really happened. |
Hardly important. Doesn't matter how advanced you are you can ask coast guard they say this |
Geez...how do you think, Einstein? |
Look it's name calling poster thinking they know who someone is or if they are a feminist or not. YOU don't know what went on at that moment. Or were you at Riu for a McDonald's too? |
+1. When you can talk some sense into that 3/12/2025 15:44 poster. Or it's a troll. |
It's long gone, eaten by a shark. |

Very sad story. College kids do foolish things like this (excessive drinking, foolish choices, one night stands, separating from friends etc) all the time. 99.9% of the time, they come out unscathed. Unfortunately not this time.
I don’t think is much doubt that she drowned. If she had come up from the beach (with or without another person), & whether through her own resort or a neighboring resort, it very likely would’ve been spotted by resort cameras or security. Most resorts like this have security to prevent non guests entering from the beach. Even if she had walked awhile to come up from the beach elsewhere (not through a resort), odds are she would’ve been seen by someone or been picked up on a camera. In the event of foul play, it would be a pretty long way to carry or drag someone (dead or alive). Especially without being noticed. I feel so sorry for the parents. I also feel sorry for the friends and the guy she was with. They didn’t make good choices either, but they are not blame. These trips are such a bad idea usually. But they were all over 18 so can go where they please. |
