I don’t think is much doubt that she drowned. If she had come up from the beach (with or without another person), & whether through her own resort or a neighboring resort, it very likely would’ve been spotted by resort cameras or security. Most resorts like this have security to prevent non guests entering from the beach. Even if she had walked awhile to come up from the beach elsewhere (not through a resort), odds are she would’ve been seen by someone or been picked up on a camera. In the event of foul play, it would be a pretty long way to carry or drag someone (dead or alive). Especially without being noticed.

I feel so sorry for the parents. I also feel sorry for the friends and the guy she was with. They didn’t make good choices either, but they are not blame.

These trips are such a bad idea usually. But they were all over 18 so can go where they please.
