Eh, I disagree. She does plenty of handshaking, visiting, and small talk. She always looks appropriate and by all accounts speaks to everyone and really connects with people. It's not the hardest job in the world, but it's also not the easiest. You have to be "on" and can't hide behind a desk if you need a break.

She wants attention desperately. Nobody cares what her kids look like, but she gives little snippets of the backs of their heads hoping we will be desperate to see them. If she wants to protect them, leave them out completely.

I agree that she is very pretty and dresses well. She could use that to her advantage at charity events.

Both of them need to stay out of politics and do their own good-work without trying to influence others. With the whole California fires, I would have been more impressed if they quietly hosted friends and volunteered without needing to have press there. They did not need to urge people to take in and help friends and family. People do that already and it's patronizing to assume they will only do that if these 2 tell them to.

Instead, you’re asking everyone to beg, or more likely, pony up $$$$, for a glimpse. Once again, it makes Meghan look like a phony. I say Meghan bc it’s obvious she’s calling the shots and Harry is just going along. I strongly suspect she’d sell the kids out in a heartbeat for the right price. Meghan has no talent. I think a lot of her fans here relate to her being a control freak as that specific trait, a weakness of both intellect and character, is increasingly used by people who cannot act in productive ways as a stand-in for the work of life. There is a distinction between connecting with people and speaking in a treacly tone. There is a distinction between loving people and controlling them. There is a distinction between hosting people and caring for people and decanting items into superfluously labeling bags so that your handwriting is showcased. Absurd.

Also it's bizarre that you assume the decision to shield their kids is entirely on Meghan when Harry had an extremely public and exposed childhood that he greatly resents and has been telling people he resents it for years. The choice to keep the kids off social media and protect them from paparazzi is at least half Harry's choice and I would expect this to be one issue he is particularly vocal about due to his own experience. Meghan didn't grow up world famous so she may just defer to him on this.

Nailed it. The show just humiliates and embarrasses Megan and Harry and they’re too dumb (or too money hungry) to see it. It’s a streaming reality show. Harsh but inescapably true. I think it’s a combo that the kids aren’t cute or well-behaved enough for Meghan’s vanity, and that Harry has the IQ and EQ of what’s in a shower drain and believes his kids who are so white they’re a touch blue-skinned could be harmed due to their mixed race status.

There was talk that he’s cross-eyed. Of course, who knows the truth. The simplest explanation is often the truth and I think it’s most likely that Meghan is waiting to monetize their appearance. We’ll see a “Keeping Up with the Sussexes” style show in another 15 years.
