Or disaster relief, unfortunately. Hopefully that gets thru later.

But does this mean we're having the same thread in 60 days?

The Senate is moving ahead with a bipartisan CR. Plenty of time for the House to come to its senses. This gets ironed out on Thursday. And that’ll be a good thing for the country and feds—despite some who seemingly may be fantasizing about time “off.”

I don’t think it will. The CR doesn’t include (or not not include, rather) all the things th way are against.

There was an earlier quote that all 100 senators have to agree? Is that BS or legit? They referenced a Reuters article but I don't pay for propaganda.

I also read that they need unanimous agreement. I don't remember where -- sorry. That is why they might not be able to include funding for Ukraine in the CR because Rand Paul will not vote for it.

My suspicions are that this is what this is all about to begin with considering the Russian infestation in the R party.

There is no full year CR on the table. But you think they'll work one out in the 60 days? I don't think they'll even talk about it for 55 because that's what happens every single time.

What a lower this guy is. His own shutdown was a failure and he's helping to support a 2025 democratic house?

I am hoping for a three weeks government shutdown so that my wife and I can travel to Miami and enjoy ourselves. I work remotely but my wife has to be in the office three times a week so we can't travel.

there's no way to know how long the shutdown would last - so your wife would need to be able to get back quickly if they passed something (assuming you are not just a troll trying to stir the pot).
