Roger Stone's Time in the Barrel

I agree with pp. You are hyperbolic.
You believe that people who believe in upholding the Constitution and not promoting agendas are "unqualified." LOL.
We still have a system of checks and balances. You just think that ANYTHING Trump does needs to be "checked." It doesn't work like that.

Did you know that when Clinton took office, he fired like 93 US attorneys? Were you outraged then?

What, specifically, has he done that comes even close to a dictatorship?

No, it's people who have never tried a case or been in a court room who are being approved by the Senate to sit on a federal bench with zero experience but known biases and political agendas.

Everyone wanted to see Trump "unleashed" after his acquittal. Well, this is it.

And it's only February. Just imagine what it'll be like in September.

When do you think the trials of his political opponents start? McCabe, Comey, Brennan. Maybe they'll even be able to concoct something to charge Hillary with.

Wake up!

There is no Rule of Law under Trump! Ethical lawyers have been jumping ship at DoJ for a long time, and he prioritized stacking the bench with conservatives.

Like Maher has been saying: Trump operates like a dictator.

BTW: America has no system of checks and balances. We have a dangerously unethical dictator, and apparently there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

Where’s the outrage? Oh, it’s in the other thread where woke liberals are perseverating over Bloomberg’s comments from several years ago. But nobody is concerned that Trump has succeeded at changing the very fabric of our democracy. SMDH.

Hyperbolic much?

Yeah, Cadet Bonespur is a clown and very unethical, but its nothing that we cant recover from.

DP. In the long run we could recover, but some of things he’s done, like appointing unqualified activist judges and forcing out career civil servants, will take not just years but decades to correct. And that’s assume the Republicans don’t get back into power after Trump to keep forcing us down Trump’s path.

This is why I voted (my state has early voting) for Warren. She is the only one who has any plans to rout out the corruption and hold the guilty people responsible.

I would argue that each and every judge appointed under Donald’s reign needs to be impeached/recalled. No ducking way should the absolutely lawless GOP get rewarded for their crimes.

Just a little reminder that Elena Kagan, SCOTUS Justice, had never been a judge, she'd never ruled on a case and she'd never written an opinion prior to her nomination/confirmation on the Supreme Court.

Was she a biased activist beholden to a party or president?

Yes.

Even CNN talking head Toobin thought the recommendation of 7 - 9 years eas excessive. I enjoy watching those heads on the left exploding... speaking of when is Durnham's report coming out?

For 7 felony counts? Federal sentencing guidelines are federal sentencing guidelines.

Durham's report? Lol

Yeah, we know you all think that all white collar crime is OK.

Tell that to an elementary school classmate of mine who is in jail for 20 years for a bank ponzi scheme.

Tell that to Bernie Maddoff (who is the cell mate of my elementary school classmate in North Carolina).

Tell that to the father of my sons friend who is in jail for 25 years for a house flipping scheme.

Not saying Stone should be pardoned FWIW rather 9 years is excessive for a process crime.

You are coming at this a**-backwards.

The problem here is not that the sentence recommended for Stone is too long. It's that people who commit those other crimes should be serving longer. Especially rape.

DP...not hyperbolic. The senate is now a rubber stamp for Trump. He has reshaped the courts and he has gutted justice. The wheels of justice now work to protect the likes of Flynn, Stone and Prince.

Yet another DP. Agree, not hyperbolic. This is seriously wrong what is happening at DOJ. People need to wake the F up.

It isn't "only" February, we are only a week out from the "acquittal" - he has no boundaries or guardrails.

Let's say it is. Then it is up to the Judge to provide "fair" justice. Not the DOJ at the behest of the President.

And I didn't favor her nomination. See? I can be consistent.

What is you all’s definition of a “process crime,” anyway? “Crime committed to cover up another crime by a guy I like”?
