Roger Stone's Time in the Barrel

A reminder that even Bill Barr said a pardon in these circumstances might be obstruction.

Given the current dialogue and context, I don't think it would be hard to prove. But more important, it means that Stone is admitting his crimes, including colluding with Trump in a conspiracy against the US during the 2016 election. I am not sure why Trump thinks that helps him, but m'kay.

Just had a long talk with #RogerStone. He says he doesn’t want a pardon (which implies guilt) but a commutation, and says he thinks #Trump will give it to him. “He knows I was under enormous pressure to turn on him. It would have eased my situation considerably. But I didn’t.”

Maybe this will lead to a cascade of charges against Trump. If Stone doesn’t get suicided. If I were Stone I’d take the 40 months and shut up.

He don't have to do nothin'.

Who is going to make him?

Are you unfamiliar with how subpoenas work?

Congressional subpoenas? I know how those work.
