Huh? On what planet does a hostage not bolt out the door when cops arrive, which he greats? |
Oh, I agree fully - just thinking outside the box a bit due to his age. |
That’s stupid. Pelosi had kept the guy calm enough that he hadn’t attacked him up to that point. When the police got there he expected it to be over. The police coming in triggered the lunatic. It doesn’t matter whether Pelosi stepped up, back, left, right, or stood still after opening the door. He was immediately assaulted by the delusional idiot who had broken into his house with intent to assault the Speaker because of right-wing conspiracy theories, paranoia, and disinformation. The police saw it happen before they could stop it. WTF is wrong with you people? Why is it important to you to blame Paul Pelosi? |
On this planet. On any planet. He wasn’t terrified. He had been able to calm the nutter down. He thought the police would come in and take charge of the situation. He didn’t expect the guy to bash in his head in front of the police. |
| ^^this Right wing conservatives are always twisting the truth to suit their narrative. |
Trump himself is spewing conspiracy theories about the attacks. No amount of evidence would satisfy this crowd. Trump and friends using it for votes because it’s working — as this thread clearly demonstrates. |
+1 the early reports of a story always have inaccuracies or things that don't nake sense. That's true even locally where a shooting might happen somewhere in my city and initially the report is x people shot of y approximate age at z location and then it gets corrected. But for the GOP, the automatic assumption is deep state coverup and once they latched on, the typical signs of a conspiracy theory evolve (moving goal posts to continue to deny in spit of new data means they'll never be satisfied... Their implied alternative story is unrealistic, would involve increasing numbers of multiple people lying to he point it's unrealistic, deep state cover-up, etc etc etc). It's sad. |
Sorry this is an Amanda Knox problem/ People imagining how they would act in an extremely tense situation. Reality doesn’t always match your imagined behavior. |
If Breitbart or Newsmax had made the original report, I would not have been suspicious of it just like I am suspicious of everything else they report. I assume you almost never believe NBC. It is convenient that you suddenly have total faith in their retracted report. |
| Body cam footage is usually released to the public to diffuse allegations of police misconduct. Everyone agrees, including the accused, as to what happened. But nooooo. Here you have a bunch of conspiracy idiots saying well that can’t be right… Get your heads out of your a$$es for crying out loud. |
The goalpost never stops moving. |
I have no problem with NBC. I have problems when multiple iterations appear from multiple sources, then get retracted/changed so that everything lines up. Except for they don’t quite line up here. |
| I think the police hesitated due to typical leftist stand down orders. That’s why I want to see the body cam footage |
+1 The attack may never have occurred if the police had been allowed to act sooner. |
The truth has finally come out. Pelosi got hit in the head because of BLM. It took the MAGAs a few days, but they finally uncovered the facts. |
