As much as anyone getting fired for saying and doing similar things. |
I feel sorry for her child |
How has it ever helped any other person for being excused from a job based on unethical behavior outside the job?? It’s not about that! She has been abusive. Just like any man that would be fired, she needs to go too. Same standards applied to both genders. I think Depp is a nut, too, btw. I’ll never watch another one of her movies. |
So? Is his point to win or to clear his name? We don’t know. |
Upthread, someone said Virginia law allows it. Since Heard said she had PTSD, the other side gets to have a medical professional look into it. |
He can't clear his name and he's broke and unemployable. This is a lost case. |
Yep. The cite made it clear it wasn’t about allowing her to be evaluated. It’s that she can’t claim a diagnosis and expect everyone to just believe it. |
It's normal; once a party puts their mental/emotional state at issue, it is an open topic for discovery by the other side, including expert witness evaluation. |
Yeah you and every other red piller. Johnny Depps career isn’t toast because of the allegations. He continued to her role after role despite a growing list of issues on sets. Eventually he started closing studios more than he was making them. I guarantee if he cleaned up and laid low for awhile he’d be back in movies bY 2025. He got a million chances because of who he is. Amber still has her jobs because she’s never shown up to set late and drunk. And never cost her studios millions of dollars in delays. Never no showed, showed up hours late. She did her job. His career has suffered because he stopped doing his job. And that cost people money. And that is all people really care about in movie making. Louis CK, just won a Grammy. Mel Gibson, still in movies Ezra Miller, not yet fired Shia Labeouf, still in movies Arnie Hammer, some rehab stint before he likely comes back to movies People don’t get permanently cancelled if they can keep their sh*t together enough to keep making studios money. Johnny Depp’s career is sitting right there waiting for the moment he lets this go and goes to spend a few months in some cushy celebrity rehab. |
You've posted this red pill thing many times in this forum. Maybe you should take a break this thread seems to seriously be triggering you. |
There’s more than one of us dude-living-in-your-mom’s-basement |
I’m sorry. I didn’t know you suffer from dissociative identity disorder |
If anything this case just further damaged his reputation. It’s in the gutter. |
The thing is, he’s not unemployable. Hollywood loves him (or used to love him) and they love a redemption story. It’s up to him whether he wants to get serious about getting cleaned up and pursuing it. I don’t think he is. He’s always kind of had this “I don’t care about being an actor” thing that used to be part of his appeal. He may lose the case but there are a lot more people sympathetic to what he went through and willing to acknowledge he’s not the bad guy. The opportunity for redemption is right there. It won’t even be particularly hares if he cleans up, that is. |
| Particularly hard, I mean. |
