Huh, I remember all of you saying that impeachment would crash the economy.

The markets are predicting that this impeachment effort will be DOA when it gets to the Senate.

What will be fun, is when it reaches the Senate and McConnell decides the rules, he can make any trial as long or as short as he wants and the senators who are seeking the nomination for the presidential race will have to attend the trial even while they are in the midst of the campaign. Now that would be just like McConnell to do something like that given that he is a wily, shrewd politician.

In an impeachment trial, the rules are determined by simple majority. Romney plus vulnerable Republican senators will not allow Romney to push through rules that don't ensure a fair trial.

They are trying to make the point that her removal is ultimately a non-issue.

I almost feel bad for them. They can't afford to ask any questions where she gets to speak at any length of time because she is brilliant and her responses are non partisan and ring true. They can't afford for her to educate the American people on Ukraine with her responses.

We have all the funding we need out of Russia.’ I said, ‘Really?’ And he said, ‘Oh, yeah. We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.’

Donald Junior spoke at a real estate investment conference in 2008 and said “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross section of a lot of our assets” and “we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

This is because laws put in place in the past to help prevent money laundering in connection with criminal activity, terrorism, financial fraud, etc ended up NOT including real property, although that was considered at one time. So real estate is where bad actors stash their ill-gotten gains, including kleptocrats from the former USSR. Just following the rule of Willie Sutton.

Would love to know what's in his closet that makes him act such a fool.

It's simply a desire to feel important. Very basic.

He's ideologically sound from the GOP's perspective, but his skills as a lawyer are so-so in my opinion.

Chris Stewart is going to be disappointed. These hearings have shown a hell of a lot of crimes.

Why do we need to hear the whistleblower when we have factual witnesseses?

Whose the screeching loudmouth in the pink suit? Stefanik? What is she doing with the whistleblower quotes? She looks like she’s giving a spastic book report

I was worried that I was having misogynistic thoughts and feelings about Stefanik until I realized I have the same thoughts about Nunes. Insufferable.

The market's up because Kudlow was making the rounds puffing trade optimism. It has nothing to do with impeachment.

The markets don't like uncertainty and if it believed that this impeachment had legs - meaning that Trump could be removed - it would react.

The markets and anyone with a brain knows Trump will be impeached. The uncertainty is in removal. Even if he is removed, Trump becomes president. GOP policies won't change. So, no.

No uncertainty ...... he will not be removed. And the markets know this .....

No uncertainty.......He will be removed, impeachment or otherwise through a legal and constitutional process that he is appointed leader of and is subject to, or the people will riot. The global market has seen this type of outbreak in othwr countries, and is conservative in all lives for this reason. Human behavior can be measured, but our greatest strides in humanity come from in adjusting to oppression of purpose and goodwill. The market is watching, just like everyone else. And no one can change the still voice in everyone’s mind: this is wrong, and it is bad.

We are all watching.

Rioting? Really? If he is not removed by the Senate, people will riot??

You never know. Rodney King happened. I don’t want history to repeat itself. <3

There is a line. We are there. Our democracy works because of the constitution. When the constitution is worthless we have lost our democracy. Pay attention.

Just like Trump supporters have taken to threatening those who oppose him, there are those who oppose him that might take things into their own hands should the Constitution etc be ignored. I sincerely hope not.

There will be protests. I don't know about rioting, but there will be protests. We have to protest. The Constitution is at stake.

Poor Stefanik. We all know that Trump admitted it all! Whistleblower is irrelevant now. So sad she had to use her time like that. Pathetic.

I've been repressing my thoughts on people's appearances.

Hey, is this over? No more substance, just political grandstanding.
