Money ain’t worth nothing 6 feet under. National security (protection from harm/death) supports life. |
It wasn't for his service. McCain was offered a release from torture because of who his father was and wouldn't leave. That doesn't mean that conservatives also didn't see McCain as wrong in other ways of thinking. Hero worship is not something that comes naturally to conservatives. We see Trump's flaws but we also know what went on behind the scenes and how the mainstream media goes out of their way to trash him, while protecting Democrats, some who have some "interesting" histories. |
That’s a very charitable version of Trumpster “logic.” |
| Lindsay Graham says this hearing is "un-American." Can someone please explain why that is? |
Because in AMERICA we know better than to question the monarch, King StickyTinyHands, since the monarch is our ambassador to gd |
There’s no reason. He’s a broken man. Literally just mute the Repos when they talk; they add nothing. |
Granted, each problem requires its own solution, but the larger point is that they aren’t in a position of presidential power. This is about public citizenship and national security. Everyone respected McCain and Bkehber. Media has always focused reporting and required leadership approval; the companies that own cnn, publishing studios, they’re nearby in this area and probably drive a Subaru. But this is an “interesting” history too: Trump and Rudy Giuliani in drag kissing https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4IrE6FMpai8 |
Because Republicans are being told that they cannot call witnesses the Democrats determine are "sham witnesses" That's one reason: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/congress/schiff-signals-he-will-reject-gop-sham-witness-requests |
Let's be honest here as there are a lot of federal employees here who have admitted that the government 'slow rolls' paperwork. So a history of public service does not immediately give people cred, nor does military service. I don't think Bo Bergdahl, who served as well, garners instant respect because of his service - his actions overshadow his service. The cries of "don't you respect military?" falls on deaf ears to a lot of people because those who truly are critical thinkers judge people as individuals, not as a group. |
I had to mute them - so appalling. |

William Taylor talking about all the many steps Zelensky and Ukraine were taking to end corruption.
Now talking about the two channels for US foreign policy - the actual one and the “irregular, informal. Unaccountable to Congress.” Sondland, Mulvaney, and Giuliani (I missed one) |
Is he actually claiming that Congress gets to approve the President's conversations? |

NP. Is he saying that? Please elaborate for those of us who cannot watch/listen right now. |
Trump supporters' eyes are glazing over because the testimony so far is substantive and detailed and explains long-standing US foreign policy. They cannot comprehend it since they're not using colorful adjectives such as "secret" and "cult-like." |
