Got back at dinner time last night from a short work trip. DH was taking care the two kids all week and doing great. I get in tired and he expects me to take care the kids that night. I’m of the opinion that I need to decompress after my trip. He’s of the opinion that he’s been on solo child care and needs to decompress. I have more trips to come so who’s right? |
He's right. |
Agree, unless you just got off a flight from China or something. |
How is this a question?
Of course it’s your turn. |
he's right. |
He's right. But also don't you want to spend some time with your kids? If you got home around dinner time, how much time could they possibly have left awake? |
I don't know, man - if your trips are like mine, they are totally exhausting and it takes time to transition back into the home life. I've been on both sides and I honestly don't know what is the answer. |
If you give up the punani, then he will have more energy (after a short nap of course) to take care of the kids.
Either take care of the kids or give him your delicious forbidden fruit! |
He's right. He's been on solo duty all week. It's your turn. |
suck it up buttercup. He needs time off now. |
This. |
Its your turn |
+1. You've been away, OP, "working," by which we mean staying at a hotel, eating dinners out.... |
He's right. What the heck are you doing while traveling that makes it so stressful? I mean are your coworkers screaming at you like toddlers trying to get dressed in the morning? |
This is a troll, based on the thread from a month or so ago where it was the dad who travelled. OP probably wants to see if a woman would get the same responses the dad did in the other thread. So far, yes. |
