I am pissed off the reason she liberal is because of TIKTOK and the school system.

My 17 year old is on her way to vote yes right this minute. And I’m proud of her.

+1

My 18yo woke up extra early to go vote before school (his school didn't have off today). This kid NEVER wakes up early (or on time ).

But he knew how important it was.

My 18 year old came home from college two hours away to vote a couple weekends ago!

Fairfax county representatives should not be representing counties farther away from them than New Jersey is to them. Larger states, it can be necessary (TX can take 10+ hours to drive across, for instance.)

I would be fine with that. Because then the states that did it in 2025 including Texas, Ohio, Missouri, North Carolina, and Utah would have to be un-gerrymandered.

Not sure how election fairness means reducing the voice of the 5 million people who don't live in NOVA.

Not sure how these voices are reduced. Each representative will still represent around 750,000 people just like they do now.

You clearly have zero idea about how elections work. Elections are done on a state level. It would be wildly unconstitutional to "change this on a federal level."

Aspects of voting and gerrymandering can be changed on a federal level

By arranging the map so that NoVA dominates republican areas if VA

The consensus of all the experts is that while it won’t be like Spanberger’s 15-point landslide, it’s looking like Yes is most likely going pull it out.

So all the residents still have a representative, right?

Wow the Democrats think Trump is King but this 90% vote rigging is the true king behavior. Maybe trump should propose that with the electoral college

Trump has no control over the electoral college plus it’s already, plus it’s already kind of like this due to the House’s size which was capped a hundred years ago for no reason while tiny states with no people still get two Senators.

Trump has been trying to rig elections because he is so incredibly unpopular. Took an amazing economy and lit it on fire. There isn’t a thing he hasn’t destroyed and he knows accountability and the end of his government of drunks and grifters will be coming to an end soon if the majority of the people get their say.

I’d say the people who voted for him deserve to be put into conservatorship because they have to be clinically stupid given the breathtaking levels of poor judgment coming from them. But I will settle for reducing their influence as a temporary measure.

If 49% of Virginians support one party, but that party is reduced to only 10% of congressional representation, that is a 39 point representation gap.

Using Virginia’s population of about 8.88 million, that equals roughly 3.46 million people worth of representation lost their right to vote.

For historical context, in 1860 Virginia, about 490,000 people were enslaved, which was roughly 31% of the population. so this is even bigger than that.

Come back when you care about disenfranchised Democratic voters in Texas, NC, Ohio, etc.

Trump has a 30% approval rating right now. The vast majority of adults hate his guts. And you want him to have carte blanche to run roughshod over the Constitution and raid the Treasury. Republicans can’t seem to grow a spine to love their country, so we get to tell them to shut up for a bit.

Looks like this will be relatively close at least. Fairfax I'm sure will be the last, as usual.
